Two books accepted for the History Book Club!

We are pleased to announce that two of our books have recently been accepted as an alternate selection for the History Book of the Month Club, the Military Book of the Month Club, and BOMC2 (the book club's online subscription service). They will both be featured this summer!

“Why didn’t anyone think of this before: a concise and clear introduction to the problem of Lincoln and the Constitution? Thank goodness Brian Dirck did. Anyone who reads his accessible, vivid, even entertaining book will understand why Abraham Lincoln cannot be ignored in any account of the constitutional history of the United States.”—Mark E. Neely, McCabe-Grier Professor of the History of the Civil War Era at Penn State University

“It has never been easy growing up or living in the public eye. To do so under the enormous shadow cast by our 16th president would test the resiliency of even the doughtiest character. As historian Jason Emerson details in in this richly informative biography, Robert Todd Lincoln, the only one of Abraham Lincoln's children to survive into adulthood, bore his peculiar burden with quiet grace and admirable dignity.”—Ron Reagan, political commentator and author of My Father at 100
